This coming Wednesday is the 100th anniversary of the birth of uster Keaton, one of the all-time great silent film comedians. Known as the Great Stone Face," Keaton's unflappable demeanor worked as brilliant ounterpoint to his phsyical comedy. Keaton made the transition to talking films nd eventually television, but it was not an easy road. Neal Rauch prepared this ppreciation.
