Assault Weapons

The House has passed a bill today that would repeal a ban on assault weapons. Members of the House engaged in extremely bitter debate on whether to overturn the ban that was part of President Clinton's crime bill. The President has said he will veto the overturn and the Senate may not even vote on it. NPR's Peter Kenyon reports.
