Commentator George Berdes (BURR-diss) is a retired foreign policy analyst, living in Eagle River Wisconsin. He says it's no fun to be stereotyped as a senior citizen and tells the story about the time he walked into a restaurant and the "cute-young thing" behind the countertreated him as if he were deaf, dumb and blind.
