A key figure in the dispute over FBI files collected by the White House has taken the Fifth Amendment, rather than testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Anthony Marceca (mar-SEE-suh) had testified on the same subject before a House committee on Wednesday. The Senate committee chairman says Marceca might not be allowed to invoke the Fifth Amendment since he has already answered the House panel's questions. A White House spokesman says Marceca has the right to avoid self-incrimination, but the White House is disappointed because it claims the public needs to know all the facts.
