NPR's Edward Lifson is in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, where the government of President Slobodan Milosevic brought in riot police to crack down on Opposition Party demonstrators. The marches to protest election fraud have been blocking traffic in the middle of the city for five weeks. Today, the police enforced a new ban on demonstrators by pushing an estimated 30-thousand protestors away from the main street they were blocking.
