She dissects an exchange between Clarence Page and George Will, both regulars on ABC's Sunday morning talk show " >This Week," as a textbook example of communication between the races. The Oakland School Board's decision to recognize Ebonics as the primary language of many of its African- American students, was widely dismissed by black leaders.
