Our music man in London, Charles de Ledesma (dih-leh-DEZ-muh) has the latest on a new musician making waves there -- Jimi Tenor. His music is what Charles calls "retro-futurist", combining 50s bebop, fusion jazz, and 1970s funk. Tenor collects old analog synthesizers, which give his music a distinct eclecticism. His debut CD is called "Intervision". (NOTE: Intervision, by Jimi Tenor, is available only on IMPORT from the UK until May 1997, when EMI Music will start distributing it in the United States. If listeners have questions about getting it on import, it's on a label called "WARP", which is distributed by EMI Music UK. Their customer service number is 011-44-171-605-5555.) ((STEREO))
