Summer Slevin is a recent Illinois State University graduate who is taking a road trip across the country. She's been giving us progress reports on the places she visits and the people she meets. GLT's Ave Rio has more with Slevin, whom we reached while she was sailing on the Pacific Ocean off the coast of northern California on Day 32 of her trip.
Slevin and her traveling companion -- her dog Rocky Road Trip -- are off to the Grand Canyon next and head back toward Illinois at the end of this month. We'll check in again with Slevin when she gets home.
