Community Discussion Rules

These are the rules for commenting and participating in discussions on wglt.org. We reserve the right to block anyone who breaks these rules. Thanks.

If you can't be polite, don't say it. We welcome civil debate and we know some issues require blunt talk. But try to disagree without being disagreeable. No personal attacks, name calling, hate speech, defamation, or comments that could be taken as racist, sexist, pornographic, threatening, harassing, or bullying.

No obscenities. Please.

Keep your comments short. 400 words or less is best. We reserve the right to edit for brevity and clarity.

Respect privacy. Do not share anyone’s contact information through WGLT’s discussion forums, including email addresses and phone numbers.

No advertising, promotion, recruitment, campaigning, soliciting or proselytizing.

Please do not feed the trolls. Yes, we want the community to report abuse. But do not engage with trolls. If we see you are feeding a troll we will remove the troll’s comments and yours.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. WGLT is not responsible for content posted by users. However, we have the right to review, screen, delete, edit and/or move any content posted on WGLT.org.
