Jerry Seinfeld Playing in Peoria This December

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will perform at the Peoria Civic Center this December. 

Seinfeld is set to perform Dec. 19 in the Civic Center Theater. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 4 online and at the Civic Center box office. 

The comedian is perhaps best remembered for his eponymous '90s sitcom of the same name. More recently, he's hosting the Emmy-nominated web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and the Netflix special "Jerry Before Seinfeld."

Tickets for the December show start at $50.
