A 23-year-old Bartonville man who disappeared two weeks ago was found dead in rural Delavan on Thursday.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley said a farmer checking his soybean fields found Jordan T. Kramer dead in a vehicle off Locust Road.
Hanley pronounced Kramer dead just after noon. A positive identification was made from visible tattoos and an ID found in the vehicle, Hanley said.
Kramer was last seen alive exiting the CVS Pharmacy, 2540 E. Washington in East Peoria, on July 2.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office, Tazewell County Coroner's Office, and Illinois State Police are investigating.
