Bradley University's COVID-19 campus positivity rate has dropped to its lowest-ever level, but the university also failed to reach its 250 tests-per-week goal for the first time in several weeks.
The campus positivity rate was just .46 percent as of Oct. 22. It's a bright spot in a region on the brink of renewed restrictions, with positivity rates hitting 7.9 percent on Thursday.
On campus, 236 people were tested over the past week.
Six people tested positive for the coronavirus on or off-campus, and an additional 37 are in isolation or in quarantine. Bradley's Health Services and Counseling Department said quarantine numbers are up due to Bradley student exposure to positive non-students "in a variety of settings."
Bradley plans to hold in-person classes through Thanksgiving break. The final weeks of classes will be virtual-only.
