In a news release, BPD said detectives served murder warrants against Kentrell Brown at the Olmsted County Jail in Minnesota, where he is being held on unrelated charges.

Police said Brown remains jailed in Minnesota awaiting extradition.

On March 7, BPD officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Clearwater Avenue where they found the body of Natwan Nash, 26, of Bloomington.

The McLean County Coroner’s Office said Nash died of multiple gunshot wounds.

The bond listed on the murder warrants is $3 million, according to police.
