A woman in her 30s is among the most recent McLean County residents to die of COVID-related complications.

The McLean County Health Department (MCHD) on Friday announced the woman's death along with two others: a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 80s. None were associated with long-term care.

MCHD has reported 329 COVID-related deaths since the start of the pandemic; 23 deaths have been announced since the start of January.

Bloomington-Normal's two hospitals report 92% of total beds in use while 89% of ICU beds are full. The number of COVID patients fell to 53 people, down from 60 on Thursday.
