The public is invited to complete the B-N Metropolitan Long-Range Transportation Plan 2050 survey.

McLean County residents are being asked to provide feedback on a long-range transportation plan.

The McLean County Regional Planning Commission is working on the Metropolitan Long-Range Transportation Plan (MLRTP) 2050. It will help shape transportation policy in McLean County for the next several decades, including driving, walking, cycling, transit riding, freight delivery, and other forms of mobility.

One of the goals that will be incorporated into the plan would be eliminating transportation-related deaths and major injuries.

The county's previous long-range transportation plan was adopted in 2017.

The public can share their input through an online survey. Hard copies of the survey can also be picked up or completed at the Bloomington and Normal libraries. Available in three different languages (English, Spanish, and French), completed surveys will be accepted through June 30.
