Reported tornado touches down near Colfax in eastern Mclean County; no damage reported

A tornado touched down in McLean County Saturday, but there was no damage reported.

The tornado was spotted on the ground about three miles southwest of Colfax around 6:46 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, based on a spotter report from the McLean County Emergency Management Agency. Grape-sized hail was reported in Downs at 6:31 p.m. (View more storm reports here.)

Around 5:40 p.m., winds traveling at least 67 miles per hour were reported in Stanford, in southwest McLean County.

The National Weather Service ended its tornado warning for the area at 7:08 p.m.

A tornado watch was canceled shortly before 9 p.m. for McLean County as the storm pushed into eastern Illinois.
