Colfax man charged in drug-related death

A 42-year-old Colfax man is charged with drug-induced homicide in the death of a Bloomington woman.

Jason Tolan faces felony charges of drug-related homicide, delivery of a controlled substance containing fentanyl, and delivery of methamphetamine.

According to charges, Tolan was involved in the drug-related death of Brooke Bartnik-Bargery, 39, of Bloomington. She died April 16 in Bloomington.

Tolan is jailed in lieu of $500,000 bond. He is scheduled for a March 10 arraignment in McLean County court.
