Urban Air Adventure Park plans new location in Normal

Urban Air has 330 locations open or in development. This would be the first in Illinois between Chicagoland and the Metro East area.

An indoor adventure park company plans to open a new location at the Shoppes at College Hills in Normal.

Urban Air Adventure Park plans to open on the eastern half of the former Hobby Lobby location, at 301 South Veterans Parkway. Urban Air, which is known for its trampoline parks, said the 37,821-square-foot location will have many activities, including Snapology Classroom, Spin/Flip, Laser Tag, Twist Tower, Adventure Hub, Sky Rider, and more.

Urban Air did not provide an opening date, though it said it will soon start taking employee applications. The local location will employ 60 people.

Bloomington-Normal has one existing trampoline park, Altitude. A second trampoline park, Sky Zone in north Normal, closed during the pandemic.
