A large party and subsequent fight early Saturday morning led to one person going to a Bloomington hospital with a gunshot wound, according to Normal and Illinois State University police departments.

Normal Police say they responded to a shots-fired report around 1:21 a.m. in the 1500 block of Woods Avenue, a residential area blocks away from ISU's campus. According to a news release, police found evidence of a shooting in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex.

ISU Police indicated in a social media postthe shooting followed a fight and large street party; the post reported an ISU student left the scene and "self-transported" to OSF St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington for a gunshot wound. The injury was not life-threatening, according to police.

No arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
