Several Connect Transit bus lines will run further apart during peak hours.

In a statement, the agency said it is waiting on parts for needed repairs. Effective Monday, the temporary service reduction is intended to provide greater consistency for riders with a smaller fleet of operable buses.

The Yellow Route now runs every 30 minutes. Aqua, Blue, Orange, Purple and Silver route buses run an hour apart. All other timetables remain unchanged.

Connect Transit anticipates repairs taking several months.
