Eat cake with Abe: Celebrate what would have been Honest Abe’s 214th birthday with a bash at David Davis Mansion. Every Brilliant Thing: There are just two more weekends to catch veteran central Illinois actor Tim Wyman in Heartland Theatre Company’s brilliant “Every Brilliant Thing.” The play navigates through tough material—the sole actor reflects on growing up with a suicidal parent—but manages to leave its audiences with hope and optimism.
