The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts tacked a second show onto Pete Davidson's Prehab Tour after tickets for the one-night-only engagement sold out in 48 hours.
The stand-up comedian noted for irreverent, self-deprecating humor will now perform two shows on June 14, including an added performance at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the late show are on sale now.
The North American tour concludes July 27 in Rockford, with additional stops in Milwaukee and Waukegan on June 13 and 15.
The Prehab Tour follows a Netflix special released in January, plus Davidson’s return to television in Peacock’s Bupkis, a semi-autobiographical limited series starring Davidson as himself with Edie Falco and Joe Pesci as his mother and grandfather. The show was renewed for a second season, which Davidson declined to pursue. He previously wrote, produced and starred in The King of Staten Island and was a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 2014-2022.
The BCPA has successfully dialed in on the comedy market this season; previous sold out stand-up tours from Charlie Berens, Trailer Trash Tammy and Bored Teachers have contributed to a swift turnaround for the once-beleaguered downtown Bloomington venue.
