Central IL rockers convene at Nightshop: A three-band lineup includes Decatur rustbelt soul progenitors Harlem Hayfield as the headliner. Peoria alternative rockers Common Shamans and extra groovy LOA open. 8 p.m. Friday (doors at 7 p.m.); $10 cover, nightshop517.com.

Tallboys and yarn art: Tailgater’s Pub in LeRoy hosts a craft fair with a twist: Crafts, Drafts & More is part vendor fair, part street fest with Tailgater’s taps open and sweat treats from Ice Daddys at your fingertips. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, 509 N. West St., LeRoy.

Uptown yums: Uptown Normal kicks off festival season with a Medici-approved selection of barbeque, bourbon and craft beer, plus a country-inspired lineup of regional bands. 4-10 p.m. Saturday; $7 donation benefitting Pet Central Helps.
