B.Y.O. lawn chair: The final installment of Bloomington’s First Friday concert series is for country fans, with Chicago-based Chris Stapleton and Eric Church lookalikes splitting the bill. 7 p.m. Friday on the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts lawn; $5 admission, or proof of purchase from a downtown business. artsblooming.org.
Laugh out loud: Funnyman Ryan Singer gives a stand-up set on the heels of his first full-length special, The Supernatural. Expect not-too-gross vulgarity and a healthy dose of political banter poking fun at both sides (and himself). This one’s just for the grown-ups—and seriously funny. 8 p.m. Friday at The Deep End Tap at Eastland Suites; tickets $30 at thecackleshack.com.
Wear rainbows: The centerpiece of downtown Bloomington’s annual Pride Fest is its mainstage drag show, performed on a stretch of Main Street bedazzled with rainbow hearts. The Bistro-sponsored event has grown since its 2018 inception, now taking up four city blocks and including a vendor fair, Pride Idol singing competition and second stage with live music and spoken word. 4 p.m. Saturday; free.
