A Toast: David and Randi Howell celebrate 10 years as the caretakers of Ducan Manor, the Italianate brick mansion near Towanda surrounded on four sides by farmland purchased and restored by the couple beginning in 2016. Along with tours of the home, the weekend-long festivities include live music and food trucks, Ethan and Elizabeth Finkelstein of the wildly popular Instagram account Cheap Old Houses will be on hand for meet-and-greets, plus a headlining concert by Chicago Farmer on Saturday. 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, 12-10 p.m. Saturday and 12-4:30 p.m. Sunday at Duncan Manor, 1002 Towanda-Barnes Rd., Towanda. A 'Prost!' Medici curates a selection of seasonal beers to complement live entertainment and food for Normal Rotary’s Oktoberfest in Uptown Normal (not to be confused with Sunrise Rotary’s October 5K).
