A Bloomington man has been arrested in connection with a June shooting that left another man injured.
Eric Derring, 31, was arrested following an investigation by Bloomington Police and a grand jury's indictment on Sept. 25.
The arrest stemmed from a June 9 shooting in the 300 block of Erickson Avenue that left a 26-year-old man injured from a gunshot wound, according to a news release from BPD.
Derring was indicted on five counts, including aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/previous conviction, unlawful possession of firearm and firearm ammunition by a felon and armed habitual criminal.
Derring was arrested without incident in the 1800 block of West Olive Street, police said. He remains in custody at the McLean County jail.
