Winter weather cancellations: Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025

WGLT is tracking notable cancellations in Bloomington-Normal and elsewhere in Central Illinois.

Here is a list of weather-related cancellations and schedule changes for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. You can send us more McLean County cancellations at news@wglt.org.

Schools

Unit 5 - e-learning day. There will be no Tuesday morning practices or activities. A decision on after-school activities will be made by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

District 87 - e-learning day.

Illinois State University and its Laboratory Schools will be closed. All classes are canceled and will not be delivered remotely. Residence halls and residential dining centers will remain open. All other campus buildings will be closed.

Heartland Community College - All locations will be closed. All classes (online and in-person) are canceled.

Central Illinois Bridge Academy, Normal - no school

El Paso Gridley CUSD #11 - e-learning day

Lexington Community School District - e-learning day

LeRoy schools - not in session

Heyworth CUSD #4 - e-learning day

Olympia - e-learning day

Regional Alternative School, Bloomington - remote learning day

Tri-Valley - remote learning day

White Horse Academy, Normal - closed

Illinois Central College - closed

Community

LIFE Center for Independent Living (LIFE CIL) - both offices (Bloomington and Pontiac) closed

Lifelong Access - The Gregg Chadwick Lifelong Access Pediatric Therapy Clinic and Adult Programs will be closed

McLean County Museum of History - closed

Normal Township's Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) - closed

Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington - closed

Recycling Furniture for Families - closed with no furniture deliveries or pickups, no client appointments.
