Something old: The 67th annual Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale kicks off with trivia tonight, but the main event an all-day auction of quilts and other unique and handcrafted items on Saturday — plus vendor booths, a Dutch market and butcher shop. Something new: For the first and perhaps only time, West Bloomington Revitalization Project is offloading its overstock of fine, rare, local and collectable books in a weekend-long fundraiser organized by Normal Community high schoolers. Friday includes a silent auction, live music and eats from Epiphany Farms and Green Top Grocery. Something free: For the second year, Nomad Theatre presents pop-up mini performances highlighting historic female icons in honor of Women’s History Month. Formatted a bit like the Evergreen Cemetery Walk (R.I.P.), visitors can browse the stacks in any order they wish to encounter depictions of Sojourner Truth, Anne Sullivan, Ella Fitzgerald, Coco Chanel, Kim Phuc Phan Thi and much more. 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Bloomington Public Library; free. nomadtheatre.org.
