Another round of severe weather is headed for Bloomington-Normal on Wednesday.
McLean County and surrounding counties are at a Level 3 enhanced risk (3 out of 5) for severe weather on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
From mid-morning through late afternoon, damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes are all possible. Very large hail, widespread damaging wind, and a few strong tornadoes are favored near and south of Interstate 70, which is well south of Bloomington-Normal.
Urban and street flooding are possible due to very high rainfall rates being expected, the weather service said.
It will also be windy, with gusts between 45 and 55 mph possible. This will cause difficult travel for high-profile vehicles and could cause scattered tree and power line damage.
