Public meeting set for bike path that would connect White Oak and O'Neil parks in Bloomington

A public informational meeting is set for Monday about a plan to connect White Oak Park and O'Neil Park in west Bloomington with a new bicycle path.

The City of Bloomington’s Parks and Recreation department will host the meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, at the White Oak Park Community Room, 1514 N. Cottage Ave., Bloomington.

The two parks are located just a few blocks from one another.

“During the meeting the community is encouraged to offer input on the development of the bicycle path connecting both parks,” said Dave Lamb, Parks and Recreation assistant director.
