Adam Wainwright Live in Concert takes place Oct. 16, 2025, at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. Presales begin on July 31.

Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam stepped off the mound for the last time in 2023, having already kicked off a second career in country music. The Georgia native retired as the Cardinals’ third-winningest pitcher in franchise history, making his singer/songwriter debut in center field at Busch Stadium.

A year later, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut.

Between commentating Major League Baseball for FOX Sports and the MLB Network, Wainwright’s late-blooming career as a rising country artist has been shepherded by Grammy-winning writer/producer Gary Baker. He’s been out on the road touring his freshman 2024 album, Hey Y'all, and stops for a night in the Twin Cities this fall.

Adam Wainwright Live in Concert takes place at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, 600 N. East St., Bloomington.

Presales start Thursday, July 31. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 1, at 309-434-2777 and artsblooming.org.
