Police are looking for the public's help identifying the suspect in a pair of armed robberies this week at two Bloomington businesses just a few blocks apart.
Those robberies happened Monday night and Thursday night at two businesses along North Main Street (the 900 block and the 1100 block). Bloomington Police say the incidents are related.
In both incidents, police said the suspect brandished a handgun, demanded money from employees at the business, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
The suspect in both incidents is described as a Black male, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slight to medium build. The suspect wore the same clothing in both incidents, with the most recent incident including the addition of sunglasses and different socks. The clothing is described as follows:
- Black mask pulled to the bridge of his nose
- Black long sleeve top with bleached stains
- Gray hood pulled over the head
- Tan pants with a distinct logo on the upper left thigh
- Lightly colored slide-style footwear with socks
- White gloves
