What's Next For Cumulus?

Cumulus Media is one of the largest radio companies in the United States, owning and operating 446 stations including Radio Bloomington's 1230 WJBC and 101.5 WBNQ. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization Wednesday.

High-Speed Service 

Full service of Amtrak's high-speed rail corridor from Chicago to St. Louis is expected to be ready by early 2018. Car orders and vendor changes have been a bit of a setback for Amtrak. The speedy service has been running between Dwight and Pontiac for quite some time.

Sorensen Sent To Southern Illinois 

Former McLean County Board Chair Matt Sorensen reported to prison Monday in Marion. After serving his sentence, Sorensen will provide at least 10 percent of his net monthly income toward restitution and serve probation.

Holiday Commemoration Of Those Who Served

A tree stands at the Central Illinois Regional Airport in memory of fallen soldiers, featuring 155 hand-crafted ornaments representing fallen soldiers from 33 states. One of those ornaments is dedicated to Normal native Sgt. Joshua Rodgers.
