Six more confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday in McLean County.
The six new cases included two women and four men. None of them were related to the Bloomington nursing home where seven people have died and dozens have been infected.
McLean County's total case count rose to 210, according to the McLean County Health Department. That includes 66 people isolating at home, six hospitalized, and 128 who have recovered. Ten people have died.
Testing Site Details
Meanwhile, the drive-thru testing site at the Interstate Center was closed Monday for Memorial Day. Less than 50 people were tested there on Saturday and Sunday—the first two days since Pekin-based Reditus Labs took over the site.
You no longer need to be a first responder or medical personnel, be high risk, an essential worker, or have symptoms to be tested. It's essentially open to everyone.
The testing site will reopen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The site has administered around 7,000 tests since opening in late March.
