McLean County reported one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday—a woman in her 20s.
People in their 20s continue to be the hardest-hit age group in McLean County, in terms of positive coronavirus tests. Of 226 confirmed cases countywide, 51 of them (or 23% of all cases) have been people in their 20s, according to the McLean County Health Department.
There are now 17 people isolating at home, and three others hospitalized. Those 20 active cases is the lowest number in a month.
Thirteen people have died in McLean County since the pandemic began. Ten of them were residents or employees at Bloomington Rehab nursing home.
The vast majority (193 of 226 patients) have already recovered.
