With fan access restricted, many college and pro sports teams have sold fan cutouts during the pandemic.

Illinois State University athletics is selling photo cutouts that fans can buy to help fill the seats at Redbird Arena during the basketball and volleyball seasons.
Fans won't be allowed at the games due to COVID-19 restrictions. The men's and women's basketball schedules haven't been finalized. ISU only lists Missouri Valley Conference games on its website. MVC is scheduled to begin play in late December.

Volleyball, which is typically played in the fall, has been pushed back to February.

ISU athletics said fans can buy a cutout with a picture of them, a loved one or a pet. The cutout will appear in the lower bowl of the arena.

The university lists package options on the athletic department website.

Proceeds will benefit ISU’s Keep Rising Fund that helps offset the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
