Patricia A. Mueller, 77, of Normal, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bloomington with Rev. Steven Loftus officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Thursday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Historic St. Patrick Altar & Rosary Society.
Patricia was born on January 11, 1948, in Bloomington, the daughter of Delmar and Mary McElvaney Wittmuss. She married Joseph F. Mueller on June 10, 1967. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2013.
She is survived by a son, Stephen (Amanda) Mueller, Bloomington and her German Shepherd, Maggie.
Patricia graduated from Trinity High School in 1966 and worked for the printing service at Illinois State University for many years, retiring in 2014. She was active in the Moose Lodge, serving on the Women’s Board of Officers for Local Chapter 173, including the position of Senior Regent. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with friends and traveling, including New Orleans, Florida and cruise trips.
