Jennifer Armstrong

Individual Giving Director

Jennifer is responsible for donor engagement and services for the WGLT annual fund, as well as grants management.

Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience working in arts administration and grants management at the local, state and national levels.

Jennifer was previously the Associate Director for SMU DataArts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Prior to Dallas, Jennifer served as the Director of Community Arts Development for the Illinois Arts Council. Jennifer has also served as Executive Director of 40 North | 88 West in Champaign County, as Program Coordinator for the Department of Dance at Arizona State University, and as Managing Director of the Peoria Area Arts Council. She has been part of many boards and initiatives committed to community, cultural equity and leadership development.

Jennifer enjoys live music, theatre and dance. A University High School/Illinois State Lab School and Millikin University graduate, she is happy to be back "home" and spending time with family.
