The McLean County Board has turned thumbs down to a 2% increase in board member pay, or about 98 dollars a year. They accepted about a two percent increase for County elected officials entering a new term at the end of the year, such as the Coroner and Auditor and Treasurer. County Board Chair John McIntyre talks with GLT's Charlie Schlenker about those issues. Ordained male deacons serve in a variety of leadership roles in the Catholic Church. Now, Pope Francis says he wants  bishops to consider ordaining women as deacons. GLT's Judy Valente talks with Phyllis Zagano, a theologian at Hofstra University in New York and one the nation's leading experts on the role of deacons. Plus, Charlie Schlenker talks with Baby Fold CEO Diane Schultz who says the Baby Fold had already downsized its residential treatment and laid off 20 people starting last June.
