Educators were left underwhelmed by Governor Bruce Rauner's speech at the regional alternative school in Bloomington last week. District 87 Superintendent Barry Reilly says he found nothing unexpected in the address and doesn't make a whole lot of the attempt to try to mobilize people to put pressure on the other side of the aisle. Central Illinois has been experiencing a bit of a heat wave, with temperatures rising into the 90's this week -- and the official start of summer is still to come next week.
