Travel through some of Portugal's most beautiful regions. Experience Old World traditions, coastal villages, regional wines, and folkloric entertainment. Visit the Tower of Belem as part of your Lisbon tour; explore Madeira Island, known as the "Pearl of the Atlantic"; and discover stunning St. Michael, the largest of the Azorean islands. You'll be surrounded by the natural beauty of Portugal's Riviera, with visits to Cascals and Estoril. Lose yourself to the serenity of the twin lakes of Sete Cidades. You will also visit Sintra, one of the world's most magical towns (and a UNESCO Heritage site), the white-washed village of Obidos, and the pilgrimage town of Fatima.

Unique culinary experiences include visits to pineapple and tea plantations, a "cozido das furnas" lunch cooked by volcanic steam in Furnas Valley, an Azorean interactive cooking demonstration, a traditional espetada dinner, and a Fado dinner show.

You'll be masterfully led by a Collette professional Tour Manager and joined by knowledgeable local guides throughout the region, all of whom can answer any questions about the history and traditions of the region. Collette also does an excellent job of balancing guided time with free time and your guides will have lots of suggestions for where to explore.
