A McLean County jury Thursday found a Bloomington woman guilty of armed robbery with the use of a firearm.
Mary Harris, 29, was arrested last year in connection with a December 16 armed robbery at Casey’s General Store on Fox Creek Road in Bloomington.
A statement from McLean County State’s Attorney Don Knapp said Harris is not eligible for probation and faces a sentence of 21 to 45 years.
“Without those efforts, and an incredibly brave victim that never (wavered) in their pursuit of justice after suffering a horribly traumatic experience, no such verdict our outcome would have been possible,” the statement read.
Police reports from the incident said a Casey’s employee was in his car when Harris pointed a gun at him and robbed him of more than $5,000.
Harris was arrested in connection with the robbery alongside 31-year-old Calvin Harris of Rockford.
