Co-Defendant Expected to Take Plea Deal in Double Homicide

The two men charged with the brutal slaying of a Princeville couple last year appeared in court Friday. 

Jose Ramirez is charged in the deaths of his parents, Dr. Susan Brill de Ramirez and Antonio Ramirez Barron. Both were employees of Bradley University.

Ramirez is due back in court next Monday for a review. 

Matthew Roberts, his alleged accomplice, is taking a plea deal. He’s due back in court on Nov. 25.
