Central Illinois' first baby of the new decade was born this morning at UnityPoint Health-Methodist.
Sullivan Swanson was born at 12:21 a.m. to Michael and Leah. He weighed 7 pounds, 4.7 ounces and measured 20 inches long.
The parents call Sullivan their "miracle baby." He was born after the couple went through four years of IVF treatments. The Swansons are adoptive and foster parents to two other boys.
Methodist's maternity team presented the family with a basket of new baby items and toys.
