The streets reopened upon the completion of the water main repairs.
The Town of Normal issued a boil order for several residences in the area: 409, 407, 405, 403, 315 W. Summit St., and 1001 Bakewell Ave.
The incident was at least the second disruptive water main break in Normal in two years. A break in March 2017 led to a townwide boil order.
