Man Injured In Shooting On City's West Side

Bloomington Police are investigating a shooting that injured one man Tuesday night on the city's west side.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Monroe Street, just south of Market Street, police said. A 25-year-old victim from Normal was transported via private vehicle to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center's emergency department, where they were listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and there were no other injuries. Police said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
