Authorities say a 36-year-old suspect was arrested outside Bloomington on Saturday in connection with an armed robbery last month in Maryland.
Jonathan D. Goff is suspected in an armed robbery June 8 at a TD Bank branch in Gaithersburg, Md., authorities said.
It's unclear what led him to central Illinois. He was arrested Saturday night without incident by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, local police K-9 units, and McLean County sheriff's deputies.
Goff is being held without bond at the McLean County jail. He's expected to be extradited back to Maryland.
