Marshall County is mourning after Midland CUSD 7 Superintendent Bill Wrenn died over the weekend.
Wrenn was hired to lead the rural school district in 2016. It covers Lacon, Sparland, Varna and parts between.
A crisis support team will be available for students and teachers at the Midland district's three schools this week.
Wrenn's visitation is set for Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in Wood River, near St. Louis. The district will dismiss all classes at 1 p.m. to allow employees and students to pay respects. Pre-K classes will also be canceled Wednesday.
Wrenn had a wife and two children.
