The Peoria Riverfront Museum will be celebrating Medal of Honor Day next year.
Hal Fritz is a United States Army veteran who earned a Medal of Honor in the Vietnam War. He’s from Peoria, and is one of only 73 living recipients of the military’s highest honor living today.
John Morris is the CEO of the Peoria Riverfront Museum. He says Fritz will be honored, along with a few friends.
“We’ll have four Medal of Honor recipients together for a special day of ceremony and celebration for the ultimate in public service.”
That special day is set for January 11, 2020.
