Donald Trump's presidential re-election campaign has named four of Illinois' five GOP congressmen as honorary co-chairs.
Trump Victory Illinois named Representatives Darin LaHood, Rodney Davis, John Shimkus and Mike Bost. Missing from the list was Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Channahon), an occasional Trump critic.
Kinzinger made headlines this week when he called a Trump tweet alluding to a "Civil War like fracture" if the president is impeached "beyond repugnant."
The campaign is looking to capitalize on the economy in its efforts to elect Republicans up and down the ballot in Illinois next year.
